Sculpture, Schools, Sales, and Festivals in the SCULPTURE: The Robert Wick outdoor exhibit of 13 works, which are already on the grounds, will grace the Botanic Garden through the month of July. Wick melds sculpting and poetry revealing the unseen to the eye and touch. Scattered throughout the Garden are several permanent sculptures that many art lovers will appreciate. Plan a full day to find the many sculptural surprises hidden in unexpected places in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden especially those pictured in this issue of Key Magazine. When it's time for lunch, enjoy your mid-day meal at the GARDENS RESTAURANT located in the center of the Garden. While there, examine the works of the current featured artist displayed in this delightful dining venue. SCHOOLS: John Denver's Windstar Foundation EARTHcamp, sponsored by the Fort Worth Botanical Society, Inc., Fort Worth Botanic Garden, and TCU Extended Education, comes to Texas for the first time June 14-18. Designed for youths entering grades 5-7, here they will learn about taking care of the earth through its environment and have fun too. For more information, call 817-257-7132. March 15-19, Spring Break Classes feature P's PLEASE, exploring Hopping Popcorn, Nutty? Peanuts, Perky Peppers, Amazing Potatoes, and a pickle person pickling pickles. For kids ages 4 to 6. This is an opportunity to learn about and purchase plants that can withstand the extremes of Texas weather, as well as gathering helpful hints on how to ensure success with all your spring plantings. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. SPRING FESTIVAL IN THE JAPANESE GARDEN is April 3-4. A Bonsai Show and demonstrations are featured along with Art exhibits, entertainment, food, martial arts demonstrations, and lots of music performed by the Taiko Drummers and other Japanese musicians.
