River Legacy Science Center

A sand & gravel path winds through trees from the parking lot to the front doors of River Legacy Science Center. Inside, visitors can explore the aquarium wall or learn the role of trees in the ecosystem, among many other things. The Center is part of the reclaimed flood plain along the Trinity River named River Legacy Parks. In the Park, visitors can picnic, hike, rollerblade or walk their dog. Science Center hrs. are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults $3, students $2. Closed Sun. through Christmas & Sun. through New Year's Day. 703 NW Green Oaks Blvd., enter from Cooper St. (817) 860-6752.
