GUEST SERVICES Royal Treatment at the Radisson Jacki Loyall, concierge at Fort Worth’s Radisson Plaza hotel, has a simple approach to assure guest satisfaction. “I treat every guest as someone special,” she insists. “Making them comfortable, filling their needs, and helping them enjoy their surroundings is my prime objective.” The Radisson concierge is no stranger to welcoming. “I’ve worked with the public all my life,” she explains. “I was raised in Fort Worth and love meeting people and helping them get excited about being here.” Jacki lays claim to solid guest relations experience, having served visitors at Fort Worth’s Cowtown Coliseum, the city’s Convention Center, and Grand Prairie’s Lone Star Race Track. “As concierge, I get to do what I love best – making people feel right at home in our fabulous hotel. We’ve hosted many celebrities including Kathleen Turner, Pauley Shore, and even the late President, John F. Kennedy – the Radisson was the last place he stayed in Texas,” Jacki explains. “We’ve also hosted The Legion of Valor, composed of veterans from all our wars, who received the Medal of Honor. Jacki is eager to show guests the wide variety of entertainment awaiting them in Fort Worth and Arlington. “I use Key Magazine as a favorite tool,” she says. It lists ongoing and upcoming events, shops, restaurants, and has handy maps of the entire area. When I give guests a copy of Key, they don’t need much else to guide them around town.” The guest relations profession requires special talents, and Jacki, offers sound advice for succeeding in that vocation. “You have to make your smile a guest’s first impression, and their last recollection,” she says. “A good concierge helps guests stay happy, and you know you’ve succeeded when you get a good-bye hug instead of a handshake.” Jacki Loyall’s royal treatment pays dividends for guests and the venue she represents, helping each new visitor feel like a king or queen during their stay.
