GALERIE KORNYE WEST

From its kiosk-style tower with its copper domed roof, to its collection of original paintings and sculptures, Galerie Kornye West enhances the fine art scene in Fort Worth. This jewel of a gallery presents art pieces in an intimate and friendly atmosphere where owner and art historian, Paula Kornye Tillman, enthusiastically shares her experience and knowledge of art with gallery visitors.

The gallery collection includes American scene landscapes by Timothy C. Tyler, OPA and Dean Gurnack. Tyler has traveled throughout the United States from large national parks to out-of-the-way creeks and rivers to reproduce the beauty of nature. Gurnack's landscape paintings capture every day scenes in nature and life from busy harbors to train stations and street corners. Also included in the gallery's collection are landscape paintings by Texas artists Bob O'Brian, Stephen Wood, and Sandra Emmanuel Heller.French country scenes by American artist Jill Musser add a European touch to the Gallery's selections along with the French city scenes of Patrick Korch. Also represented in the gallery is a popular European street scene painter, Craig Strebnik who truly captures the European city atmosphere.Galerie Kornye West is also honored to be showing the work of a legend in Texas art, Stephen Rascoe. A native-born Texan and Chicago Art Institute trained painter, Rascoe's works are in many museum collections. His art spans the years from the 1940s up to the present.

Also available in Galerie Kornye are figural bronze works by Erin Lynch Dover and pieces by wildlife sculptor Melissa Cooper, and the imaginatively painted ceramic vases of Tony Merino.
