Looking for Fall Color? The Japanese Garden in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is the Fall Color Destination for the Metroplex. No need to travel to New England or Arkansas to see blazing reds, oranges, and yellows of Japanese Maples, Oaks, and Sweet Gums. They are here. Thirty years ago the Japanese Garden arose from a trash filled ravine to become a world renowned garden of traditional Japanese design. All this color forms a backdrop for the busy season in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. At the fall Plant Sale you may purchase those hard-to-find plants, garden art, and featured roses and begonias. The Garden staff can assist with your decision-making and give helpful hints on how to ensure success with your fall plantings. The Japanese Garden 30th anniversary celebration continues with the Fall Festival. Japanese entertainers, crafts, food, art, music and of course martial arts, and Bonsai demonstrations will provide a weekend of fun and family activities. The Japanese Garden may be rented for Weddings, Receptions, Memorials, Parties and other special events. For information, call 817-763-0724 Important
