The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth's Cultural District is the only museum in the world dedicated to honoring and documenting the extraordinary accomplishments of women of the American West. Their stories are vibrant, full of risk and romance, courage and conviction, excitement and triumph!

In the Museum, through interactive exhibits and state-of-the-art technology, children and adults can experience the joy and accomplishments of the women who shaped the West.

Located off Montgomery and Burnett-Tandy, just south of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, it features three gallery areas, a multipurpose theatre equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, flexible exhibit area, research library, and a 2,000 square-foot gift shop specializing in western gifts.

With the holidays fast approaching, the Museum's Gift shop is the perfect place to find something for everyone in the family. Voted "Best Place to Buy Cool Gifts" by Fort Worth Weekly, there's everything from vintage suitcases to western themed tableware, rhinestone belt buckles to one-of-a-kind antique Western memorabilia. While at the museum, don't miss the current exhibit "Photographing Montana 1894-1928: The World of Evelyn Cameron", a unique look into the past through 47 striking black and white photographs, shot by pioneer rancher and photographer Evelyn Cameron. This exhibit is truly an important work: "virtual home movie of life on the frontier", says Donna Lucey, the woman who discovered Cameron's works.
