DOMAIN XCIV HOSTS JAY STRONGWATER

Jay Strongwater, who began with fashion jewelry and caught the eye of premier retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Berdorf Goodman, and Henri Bendel, and the haute couture designer, Osca de la Renta, will present an exclusive trunk show at Domain XCIV Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Domain show features Strongwater's exquisite handset Swarovski crystal picture frames and decorative boxes from his "Jewels for the Home" collection. The designer will meet clients and sign their purchases. Twenty percent of all Strongwater's sales will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

Strongwater's elegant designs have been featured in Vogue, Elle, Town & Country and Oprah Magazines. His celebrity clientele includes Oprah, Rita Wilson, Halle Barry, Cate Blanchett, Carrie Fisher, Mimi Rogers, Jaclyn Smith, Kelly Lynch and Arianna Huffington.

Each of Strongwater's designs is cast in metal, then treated to an oxidized antique finish and then assembled. Next comes the creative process of placing each Swarovski crystal (40 to 2000, depending on the piece), and finishing the item with layers of colored enamel. Each exquisite piece is then placed inside a felt bag and put in a specially designed gift box.
