These landscapes from the last three decades are interesting as documents, and they also present Bozzi's unique viewpoint. Rather than identify a particular geographical area, Bozzi has quietly focused on strange and seemingly anonymous spaces. A resident of Texas since 1980, Bozzi often paints areas around Fort Worth and Dallas, along the Gulf Coast, and in the East Texas piney woods. “Landscapes" was curated by Andrea Karnes, Associate curator at the Modern.
