Celebrity Cutting & Music The excitement is breathtaking – the world’s most athletic horses, head down and every muscle tense, fly around the arena, skimming the soft dirt in their hairpin turns, nose-to-nose with totally uncooperative little dogies. Highly competitive celebrities such as former Dallas Cowboy Jay Novacek, Broadway’s Betty Buckley, and C&W music’s Heide Newfield, Clay Walker, Tracy Byrd and Ira Dean compete for the coveted buckle and trophy at the 10th annual Celebrity Cutting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 at Will Rogers Coliseum. Opening the Metroplex holiday season, this highly successful benefit, produced through the Careity Foundation, is followed by a Mexican buffet and triple-threat concert by top C&W headliners Clay Walker, Tracy Byrd and Trick Pony. This year’s event celebrates the Spirit of Fort Worth in which cowboys traditionally helped neighbors who were in trouble. The event will benefit cancer patients and NCHA Charities. The intermission spectacular will feature Cowtown’s internationally famous longhorn herd. This exciting event draws fans from across the nation. General admission $10. With concert tickets, $45. Box seats (includes entry to the concert), $100. For tickets and more information, go to www.celebritycutting.org. Current
