From its kiosk-style tower with its copper domed roof, to its collection of original paintings, sculptures and ceramic pieces, Galerie Kornye West complements the fine art scene in Fort Worth. The 19th and 20th century works are presented in an intimate, friendly gallery where art historian, Paula Kornye Tillman, enthusiastically shares her experience and knowledge of art with gallery patrons and visitors. William Campbell Contemporary Art, an upscale art gallery founded in 1974 by William and Pam Campbell, is celebrating its 29th anniversary.
Located in Fort Worth, Texas, just west of the cultural district, the gallery is committed to exhibiting contemporary art in a variety of media: paintings, works on paper, mixed-media constructions, photography, original prints, ceramics, and sculpture. By exhibiting nationally recognized artists, as well as new, emerging talent, the gallery aims to nurture an awareness and appreciation of the exciting diversity found in contemporary art. The gallery regularly features one artist in a solo exhibition, as well as group exhibitions on the second floor, and continues the rotation of artists eight to ten times per year.
The gallery consistently contributes artist’s work to museums and university galleries for exhibition and educational purposes. William Campbell is the current president of the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association. Gallery 76102 is a small industrial-chic exhibition space operated by the Univeristy of Texas at Arlington. Its mission is to engage and support the art community in Fort Worth and Tarrant County by providing a venue for exhibiting contemporary art, encouraging local artists, representing the cultural diversity of our community and creating an environment that encourages new ideas and trends in the contemporary art community.
The Gallery is located at 1401 Jones Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102, in the historic Santa Fe Freight Building, part of UTA’s Fort Worth Center. The Gallery entrance is located at the south end of the building on Jones Street. Limited parking is available in the front and back of the building.
